So what is it that can we expect from Dior's new girls clothes collection? When I looked at the photos, the first thing that came to my mind was "Alice in Wonderland". There's quite a strong fairytale-feel to the collection. I love how Christian Dior implemented such a magical theme that is very suitable for girls. I would say, though, that a girl wearing some of these clothes wouldn't even think of it as a fairytale theme! For her, it's probably "just" a very beautiful dress or a pretty item of clothing. Only from an adult's perspective do we recognize the fairytale theme. That's what makes this collection so unique in my opinion! The girl wearing a dress from Dior's winter collection will feel beautiful - and she certainly will look beautiful - while the parents see her as the little princess they adore, as if she escaped from a fairytale straight into their lives. That's how magical Dior's winter collection is. So what are the elements of the collection that give it this fairytale look? Probably the most apparent characteristic is the cleanness. All of the dresses, coats and other clothes have a very clean look to it: clean in terms of coloring and design. There are no wild patterns or excessive mingling of colors. Scrolling through the pictures makes you realize how congruent all the different dresses and clothes are. The colors that are used are not somber, either, which is something I appreciate very much in this collection. There's a lot of white, blue and even red. Because of the clean designs and patterns that are mixed with these classy colors, your daughter wearing one of these dresses will look so neat, that you instantly believe she's from a fairytale.
It's hard to put in words one of the most beautiful collections I have seen. The beauty comes from its clean design and classy, yet almost shiny, Needlez BY Shalimar spring / summer collection 2012 For Girls. This mixture gives every item of garment this fairytale feel to it. Seeing Christian Dior's girls clothes collection in a winter setting will make it so magical. I doubt it would have the same effect in spring or summer. But gladly, it's the collection for winter 2011 and 2012. I hope you are looking forward to it as much as I do.
